To create a truly delightful user experience, all the smallest details count. The force sensitivity of buttons and touch screens can be measured to secure just the right feel and feedback to the end user.
Force sensitivity testing verifies buttons' or touch screens' sensitivity to touch. For example, a two-phase camera button’s user touch and feel can be verified.
Robot axis with a force & distance measurement unit measures the needed pressing force and is able to give a force value for the point when button mechanics react to the pressing. Alternatively, a robot with different spring-loaded fingers can be used in setups where the device under test (DUT) is able to measure the force.
